Sea transport
There are several weekly services between Oulu and Central Europe by sea. Lübeck,
Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Antwerp and Felixstowe are all within the sphere of regular
services. The Port of Oulu provides excellent facilities for handling all kinds
of freight. The new terminal for combined transportation modes to be built in
the immediate vicinity of the port will further improve the standard of service
provided by the Oulu district.
