Logistics Oulu 2002 - logistics event
Welcome to the most original logistics event of the North of Finland in Oulu
on Wednesday 28 August 2002 in Oritkari Port from 12.00 to 17.00.
Over 3,000 Square Metres of Fair Indoors and Outdoors
The event has massive settings. Indoors, there is over a couple of thousand square
metres of floor space, and outside some more. The exhibitors are logistics experts
in land, sea, air and rail transportation and other expert logistics solutions.
At the exhibitions, they exhibit their processes and equipment, which you are
not likely to see in everyday life. The exhibitors include among others Herman
Andersson, VR Cargo, Finland Post Corporation, Customs, DHL, Exel Logistics, Danzas,
Vähälä, Schenker, Saimaa Lines Maritime…
Transportation and catering prepared for you
A real museum rail bus will take you to the Port in a festive manner. The rail
bus departs from platform 3 at Oulu Railway Station at 11.00 and returns at 17.30.
Those arriving in their own transport can leave their cars in the car park next
to the Port House (Satamatalo), from where transportation has been organised to
the fair venue. At the venue, tasty buffets and comprehensive exhibits are waiting
for you.
Special festiveness
The logistics event is a part of Herman Andersson's 100 years' celebration, further
adding to the festiveness of the event. That is the reason for the slightly more
impressive port equipment exhibition and the arrival of guests from somewhat further.
